String of Burglaries Continues in Madianv Area, Thieves Still at Large

Lucknow: A series of thefts in the Madianv police station area of Lucknow is raising serious questions about police patrolling and security preparedness. The latest incident occurred in the Bhitoli Chauraha Muttakipur locality, where thieves targeted a house while the residents were away attending a wedding.

According to reports, the burglars made off with ₹67,000 in cash and jewelry worth several lakhs. Shockingly, the intruders also dismantled and took away the CCTV DVR system installed in the house, making it even more difficult to trace them.

This incident is part of a worrying trend where burglars appear to be focusing primarily on locked homes. Despite repeated cases and growing public concern, the culprits continue to evade arrest, leaving residents frustrated and fearful.

Questions are now being raised about the effectiveness of the local police’s night patrolling. The theft came to light only after the homeowners returned from the wedding and discovered the house had been ransacked.

Locals are urging the Madianv police to take swift and effective action. With no arrests made so far, attention now turns to how soon the authorities can nab the culprits and restore a sense of safety in the area.

Residents are demanding increased patrolling and quicker investigation to ensure that such bold acts of crime do not go unchecked.
